Student Groups

 

Direct Engagement - Recruit student groups to participate on the travel day, either as volunteers or participants in the activities. This ensures participation and creates involvement at the grass-roots level. 

 

Considerations: 

  • Should a student group event be organised, such as treasure hunt or 24 hour cycle challenge, etc?
  • Should the event partner with student groups who have Green Travel objectives?

 

International Students

 

If the institution features a large number of international students, they should be considered within the marketing and promotion process. 

 

Considerations:

  • Are translations of materials required? Is the message conveyed clearly communicated?
  • Other Campus/Buildings
  • To what extent should the event be marketed at other campuses?
  • Is there organisation resource available to support this?
